Montego Bay (Beard Wash) by Oak City Beard Company

I’ve been ordering from Oak city for a while now, but first time ordering Grizzly beard oil , butter and the balm . I have to say I love it . The Grizzly and the Viking are my favorite scents. Great job Oakcity you have amazing products

Awesome stuff. The extrait concentration is a bit strong on its own for my taste, but when layered on another fragrance, it really aids projection and longevity. I love it layered with Sedley. I think it will work well with scents like Portofino Neroli and Mancera’s Aqua Wood, too. I look forward to trying it with other fragrances and experimenting more with it on its own. The atomizer releases monstrous sprays. Quality product, and fair price. Great business.

I love this scent. It also keeps my beard healthy along with the use of a beard oil daily.

I think endorsing a specific scent is silly, everyone's chemistry is different and will react differently to different scents. THE SCENT will be different for everyone. For me that Scent is Havana. Whatever your chemistry I guarantee you will find YOUR SCENT with Oak City Beard Co. All of their products I have used are high quality, expertly crafted, and affordable. I won't buy from anyone else

This was my first ever solid fragrance in my collection. Just tested a small amount on my wrist so far. Fragrance definitely does last long, and I love the fresh barbershop fragrance it has.

Love this product. Just like they say, it works great as a standalone fragrance that's light and airy or as a boost to any fragrance you have in the collection, and I mean any.

Smells good and holds all day.

Iso E Super (Cologne) Extrait de Parfum by Oak City Beard Company

I just happened to get a sample of the Montego Bay solid cologne a while back and thought it was pretty nice. So when I needed more cologne as my daily was running low I decided to get a full sized "tub" and give it a try for a while. As what sometimes happens, I was half-way expecting it not to be as good as I remembered or would tire of it after a week. That was certainly not the case. Every time I put this on I like it more and more. At the same time I ordered it, I also ordered some samples (and full sizes) of other scents and Montego Bay products too. So far I have been happy with all of them, but I think Montego Bay is still my favorite with Barista being right up there too.

I’m thoroughly disappointed by the fact that Oak City Beard Company has decided to basically DOUBLE THIER PRICE of beard balm by reducing the size of the package in half from 4 ounces to 2 ounces. Sure, it was on sale this time, but if you do the math the “sale” price is still a %50 price increase per volume. It’s a shame I will be finding a new place to buy these products (or I’ll start making my own as I have with beard oils) because I like their quality and assortment and the fact that they are local, but I can’t justify all these companies, Oak City included, doubling prices on the backs of consumers. It was nice while it lasted.

strong vanilla at first but settles down after awhile

this is one of my favorite ones from late fall to early spring for the deep rich sent.

This is my favorite scent I’ve tried so far. You can smell the citrus up front but then the tobacco, spices and mahogany scents come through nicely.
